Hélène Ginestet at the Gordon Research Conference and Seminar
13 july 2024. Hélène Ginestet will present her work in the United States this week.
The 2024 High Pressure Research Gordon Research Seminar and Conference are held back to back from July 13 until July 19, 2024, at the Holderness School in New Hampshire, United States.
The Research at High Pressure GRC is a premier, international scientific conference has charted advances in the field for over 60 years. Probing the behavior of matter under extremes conditions, breakthroughs include to the study of deep Earth mineralogy and the quest for metallic hydrogen, and to the recent breakthroughs in high temperature superconductivity and inertial fusion.
The satellite Research at High Pressure GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
Hélène Ginestet is attending the conference, presenting her first results on iron alloys at extreme conditions, as an oral presentation at the GRS followed by a poster at the GRC. Get in touch with her for more!
