July 2026. Hélène Ginestet received the best poster award at the Gordon Research Seminar on Research at High Pressure.

The Research at High Pressure Gordon Research Seminar is held the weekend before the Gordon Research Conference on Research at High Pressure and provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting-edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. This year's seminar and conferences were held July 18 to 24 at the Holderness School, deep in the forest of New Hampshire in the United States.

HotCores PhD student Hélène Ginestet attended both meetings and presented her work on Iron alloy at extreme condition: static experiments at X-ray sources and received the best student poster award of the GRS! Congratulations for this second award, a few months after that of the European XFEL user meeting!
