EGU General Assembly 2026
May 2026. The team is in Vienna for the General Assembly of the European Geoscience Union
The EGU General Assembly brings together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience. It is held annually, and has been located in Vienna for quite some time.
This year, HotCores members are again attending EGU. We are co-conveners for one large session, GD 1.1 Mantle and Core of the Earth; structure, dynamics and interactions, with Orals on Mon, 04 May, 08:30–12:30 (CEST) and 14:00–18:00 (CEST), posters on site Tue, 05 May, 14:00–18:00, and virtual posters virtual on Thu, 07 May, 14:21–15:45 (CEST).
